[quote@toby_salinas [quote@deadseraphim [quote@toby_salinas i've been waiting for this game for so long!i just think that it's ridiculous that they've already put a release date for the 360 and not PS3 because in all fairness this game came out on the PS2 first! then it was released for the xbox. So all I know is that they better have something extra for the PS3 release.
In all honesty....it came out on the dreamcast way before the PS2...just shootin that out there... :dead:
not WAY before. just a couple of months before, and the game shined with the playstation 2 systems. not as much as on dreamcast. on a different note though. don't you think that it's weird that SEGA was never the top contender in video game consoles? they always had better technology than all of the other systems and yet their systems failed to stay alive. the game gear was the first hand held system to have color! gameboy didn't come out with color until like 2 years later! ~weird~
dude it came out on dreamcast first and dreamcast versions of MvC and MvC2 are the best ones cuz they are the arcade versions!!! so Sega wins!!!! lol :carnage:

[quote@Ashe_Darkthorne I mean do not get me wrong Marvel vs. Capcom 2 is a hell of a fighter but 20 bucks for the download???? As much as I was looking forward to it this stay at home dad has to pass...I was hoping it was at something reasonable within my budget but either Marvel or Microsoft saw fit not to see it that way.I can only hope that when I am able to get it when they knock it down I hope people will be playing it still. :x-men:
wow it is actually $15 and you are getting the best deal of your life dude

You guys need to do your math--it's $15, not $20. 100 MS=$1.25, so 400 MS=$5. That means 1200 MS=$15Apparently they don't teach math in school these days...

Why the hold up for the PS3? Better have some special features...maybe more character that didn't appear on the original? chances are prolly not but a guy can dream right?

20 bux is a steal!!!!!!Let me tell you that I was really really pressed to get this game back in 2003...so much so that I paid $55 for is...used!!!...in a Gamestop in MD. So no need to complain here....I cant' wait for the PS3 release, so I can rock my brother and ALL comers in online play!

[quote@nilcam I own the Dreamcast version and will buy this on the PS3 when it's released for the online play alone. $15 for MvC2 is a steal. I'm glad they're not messing with it at all. I prefer 2D for fighters and Marvel characters generally look better in 2D.
I own the DreamCast version too, and I play mine RELIGIOUSLY... STILL. (That's the reason I give so many play-by-plays on the matchups they post on this site!)$20 bucks isn't bad at ALL, because you WILL play way more than your money's worth. WAY more... Especially when you see how cheap some of these players are and decide to exact your vengeance upon them...DEATH TO DOOM! DEATH TO JUGGERNAUT!

Are you kidding? 20 bucks is a bargain compared to what you would have to spend for the arcade version or any other version for that matter. I have been waiting for this game forever and I am so happy to see it finally come to Live Arcade for a relatively low price.
