Super Hero Squad Online E3 2010 promotional comic
With the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) less than a week away, it's time to Hero Up and get ready for a flurry of updates for "Super Hero Squad Online"!

The gracious guys and gals at Gazillion will be there in full force, showing off "Super Hero Squad Online" to all comers, and providing hands-on time with the game--as long as you scored an appointment!

Not that you need another incentive to get up close and personal with "SHSO," but the game's developers, The Amazing Society, have also prepared a promotional comic of sorts just for E3! Take a peek at the cover here and get your hands on the handout, exclusively at E3.

For those of you who don't know, E3 is the largest video game event in the U.S.  Every year, game makers, journalists and industry insiders from across the world converge for a few days of video games, video games and video games!

But don't fret, even if you can't make it to the show, you won't be left out in the cold. Marvel's very own Agent M, Marvel.com Editor Ryan Penagos, will be on the scene at E3, delivering updates, photos and insights on his Marvel.com blog and Twitter!

Oh, but there's more! During E3 week (June 14 through June 21), head over to shsonline.com and vote in a very special poll to choose which two characters will be unveiled next. The winning squaddies will then get their big reveals on The Squad section of shsonline.com, complete with screenshots, power lists, bios and more! Vote early, vote often!

Be sure to stay tuned to Marvel.com for all of the latest news from E3 2010, updates on "Super Hero Squad Online" as well as other Marvel video game news!

I am all for bringing Marvel to the "little fans" but you can't give the "little fans" Marvel like FF, X-Men, Spider-man, Hulk and Iron Man movies and games(and avengers, dr. strange, and iron man animated movies) and then expect them to want or even entertain the idea of being able to enjoy something like SHS! And I am speaking from expirence having two "little die hard marvel fans" at home (who I brought the SHS PS2 game for and they still haven't even thought to take it out the wrapper yet, because they prefer the more advance titles(can't tell you how humbling it is to lose to 7y/o in XM: Next Dimension) as well as being a youth counselor. So I wasn't just speaking in dissappointment for my gener. of fans but for the up and coming gener. as well.

I did not forget about those titles at all (MVC3 not included until played) was simply making a generalization. And I do know that gazillion was tapped to do more; however it would prove better marketing to target and give the older generation of marvel a more mature title than to throw us SHS. And I understand that there is a younger gen. looking at marvel now and wanting to become fans but lets not sell them short on what to expect from one of the greatest comic book franchise ever made.

tylontrix, clearly you have forgetton about Spider-Man 2, best comic book game ever made, plus Marvel ultimate alliance, X-Men Legends, and Marvel vs. Capcom 3, not to mention that this is the first of several MMO's gazillion is making.Marvel games beat DC games by a landslide.

Okay so DC beats you guys in the MMO race (by the way I will be buying the DC MMO this fall) and instead pushing forward to give us a quality teen/adult Marvel MMO you come to the table with this!! Sorry Try Again!! I cannot believe this is what you think loyal Marvel fans want; to be a animated bobble-head?!? I'm crying over here!! Where is Marvel's Arkham Asylum (and Iron Man nor Hulk, though Incr. Hulk was a great game counts)? Where is the next all Marvel based game...i.e. X-Men Legends, Avengers, Fantastic Four (NOT MOVIE BASED), even better an all out Marvel Fighting Genre....WHERE!!!!!! As a fan and customer I feel so cheated and can't help feel this great sense of dread as we began to see what direction Disney will take the Marvel Universe :(

Is that supposed to be Jean next to Cyclops? Even as a fan I don’t recognize that look. I would have gone with the more recognizable phoenix looks or even the Jim Lee look. So alt costumes please.
