Sentinel character art from "Marvel vs. Capcom 3"

Sentinel
Universe:
Marvel, X-Men
First Appearance:
UNCANNY X-MEN #14
Real Name:
Sentinel
Alignment:
Villain
Brief Bio:
Designed by the mutant-hating bigot Bolivar Trask to hunt down and destroy those possessing the X-gene, Sentinels have terrorized mutants for years. Since their creation they have caused nothing but pain and suffering for homo superior, and are responsible for countless mutant deaths. Like all forms of technology, Sentinels have evolved, becoming more efficient and more deadly with each passing generation.
Abilities:
Sentinel’s armored bodies hold a host of hidden weapons such as blades and firearms, along with a selection of the non-lethal combat tools. It can also fly to catch aerial enemies.
Play Style:
Sentinel’s normals are very interesting; his medium attacks have armor and his heavy attacks are high and low laser blasts. He has the largest hit box in the game, so he can seem like a big punching bag at times but if you use him right you can easily keep opponents away with his Sentinel Force specials, Rocket Punch and heavy normals. Flight Mode helps him to extend his air combos and you can even combo out of Hyper Sentinel Force for some extra damage!

Hsien-Ko
Universe:
Capcom, Darkstalkers
First Appearance:
"Darkstalkers: The Night Warriors"
Real Name:
Hsien-Ko and Mei-Ling
Alignment:
Hero
Brief Bio:
The two sisters grew up trained as Senjutsu priestesses by their mother until demons, ghosts and evil spirits attacked their village. Their mother lost her soul while defending the villagers. Hsien-Ko and her sister Mei-Ling, after using a forbidden martial art, became the strange ghost girl and ward-paper you see today, all to rescue their mother’s soul.
Abilities:
Due to her supernatural origins, Hsien-Ko has enhanced strength and hides many different weapons within her sleeves, most of them razor-sharp blades.
Play Style:
Hsien-Ko has some very interesting qualities, but first, her normals are top notch. They do great damage, have great range and she can combo all six of her standing and crouching attacks. Her Senpu Bu swing specials helps her get close to her opponent while dealing damage and her Henkyo Ki gong special reflects projectiles back at their sender. Both of her damage-dealing hypers OTG, making her a real threat once she's got you on the ground. While she seems a little unwieldy at first, if you can overcome her slow movement speed, Hsien-Ko offers a lot of fun and damaging options for the creative player.
