Fighter Name: Juggernaut

Real Name: Cain Marko

Universe: Marvel, X-Men

First Appearance: X-MEN #12

Marvel/Capcom Game Appearances: "X-Men: Children of the Atom," "X-Men vs. Streetfighter," "Marvel vs. Capcom 2"

Citizenship: USA

Brief Bio: Fueled by the mystical energies of the crimson gem of Cytorrak, Cain Marko is capable of destruction on a massive scale. No known force on Earth can stop the Juggernaut once he starts moving, and his familiar battle cry "can't stop the Juggernaut" couldn't be more true. Abused as a child and jealous of his father's love for his step-brother Charles Xavier, leader of the X-Men, Cain turned to a life of crime. The Juggernaut has faced off against Xavier's X-Men and been defeated at nearly every encounter. After a change of heart he joined the team for a brief stint, but it didn't last. Admittedly not too big in the brains department, and unsure of whether or not he wants to play on the side of angels or devils, the Juggernaut has more than enough power to take out any obstacle in his path.

Powers: The crimson gem of Cytorrak grants Cain a variety of abilities including super strength, endurance, and durability. He doesn't need to eat or breathe and cannot be stopped once moving in a certain direction.

Special Moves: Juggernaut Punch, Earthquake, Body Splash, Power Up, Head Crush

Quote: "Of course I've won, nothing can stop the Juggernaut."

Fighter Name: Strider

Real Name: Strider Hiryu

Universe: Capcom, Strider

First Appearance: Strider (Arcade)

Marvel/Capcom Game Appearances: "Marvel vs. Capcom," "Marvel vs. Capcom 2"

Citizenship: Unknown

Brief Bio: Strider Hiryu's past is a mystery wrapped up in an enigma. That's to say we don't know much about it. We do know that he comes from a time far in our future and that he is a part of the Strider ninja clan, a group of expert martial artists with a taste for technology. Strider's mission was to destroy Grand Master Meio, a devious tyrant who built a space station between the Earth and the moon in an attempt to conquer the world. Strider, using his awesome ninja skills, defeated Meio and saved the world. Now he's ready to test his skills against the greatest fighters the universe has ever known.

Powers: Strider uses a Cypher (razor sharp sword) much like a tonfa and can call on mechanical animals to help him fight.

Special Moves: Ame-no-Murakano, Excalibur, Gram, Vajra, Kabe Haritsuki, Warp, Formation A, B, C, Ouroboros, Ragnarkok, Legion

Quote: "Who can see the future? Those who create it."

Maybe Strider Would win since hes a lot faster and mabye has more intelligence.and yes He has animals along with him.

want to say Juggernaut. thing is, Juggernaut has been pierced by magic blades, though the werent large enoiugh nor had significant force to do any good. Strider on the other hand could get on or pretty close im thinking.

Take it from a Strider player--- this fight SUCKS. And here's why: it's the ultimate overall offense vs. the biggest target in the game AND the ultimate attack vs. one of the lowest defenses in the game.On paper, Strider has Juggernaut beat in a gillion ways. He's lightning fast, he launches, he's got cats and birds and bombs, he combos like a nightmare, he air raves like a nightmare, Ouroboros is a nightmare, he recovers with decent speed, he can teleport quickly, his teleport kick is helpful. Not to mention, Juggernaut is a big easy target, Juggernaut is easy to crossover combo, Juggernaut recovers slowly and has crazy lag, Juggernaut can't answer combos with combos of his own.But... Juggernaut's Head Crush WILL KILL STRIDER. I'm telling you from experience: against Juggernaut, Strider can only afford half-a-mistake. If Juggernaut uses Earthquake and hits Strider ONE TIME, he can cancel into Head Crush and KILL STRIDER. If he powers up and hits Strider with ANYTHING THAT CANCELS INTO HEAD CRUSH, he WILL KILL STRIDER.Strider can beat up on Juggernaut all day, but Juggernaut's defense is ridiculous; Juggernaut can't hit Strider two times to save his life, but one time will be enough because Strider's got no stamina. In a perfect match, Strider beasts on Juggernaut with his unlimited options and arsenal. And for the purposes of this discussion, Strider is BETTER than Juggernaut. But BE WARNED: anyone who bets on a Strider vs. Juggernaut match is a JACK FOOL.Draw match, 5-out-of-10.
