Seeking to steal important information from the Avengers, the mob boss known only as Bull had a plan to strike at their weakest link. He thought since all of them except for Captain America had powers, his gang could overpower one "glorified acrobat" and make off with the goods. In order to make sure his target was alone, Bull had his men kidnap Jarvis, the Avengers' butler. The gang broke into Avengers Mansion and took Captain America by surprise. A brief battle led to his capture, but once the safe inside the mansion was found Cap knew he had to act. Escaping his bonds, Captain America showed Bull's gang what a lifetime of training could accomplish. After all his henchmen were defeated, Bull thought he could overpower Captain America, but he fared no better. The police were called and all were hauled off to prison.
