Byte was created by the Mad Thinker to absorb sonic energy from Klaw and become ten times more powerful than his predecessors. The process was interrupted by Lyra and the She-Hulk as they were looking to round up the last of the Intelligencia for their crimes. Although Byte was not completed he attacked the She-Hulks with Klaw, but an apparent weak spot caused his demise. She-Hulk redirected a sonic blast from Klaw into Byte's mouth, and the resulting explosion put them both down for the count.
