Captain America (Scar Turpin)

During a time when Steve Rogers learned of corruption in the White House he had become disillusioned and retired as Captain America. Upon learning this, Bob Russo announced that he would become the new Captain America. On his first night out as Captain America, he noticed a robbery at a store. Trying to stop the robbery, he swung from the top of a building, only to crash into a brick wall and breaking his arm in the process. The next day he announced his retirement as Captain America. While reading a news article about Bob Russo retiring as Captain America only after one day, “Scar” Turpin decided he deserved to be the next Captain America. Turpin donned a Captain America costume and patrolled the city on his motorcycle until he came across two men mugging an elderly man. Turpin rushed to help the man only to find out that the two men were part of a gang known as the Road Runners. The Road Runners quickly overpowered Turpin, leaving him beaten badly in the street. Turpin quickly decided that being Captain America was not for him and quit.
