Marvel Universe

Category talk:Heroes

Guidelines for CATEGORY: HEROES

The Heroes category includes characters only from the main Marvel Universe (Earth-616) to prevent an overload of all the various characters' incarnations from alternate universe stories. If they are from an alternate universe or dimension, but they have spent most of their adventures of interest in the Marvel Universe or interacting with the Marvel Universe (e.g. Longshot and Bishop), include them here. There are some shades of gray when defining a hero. Some characters are anti-heroes, like the Punisher. Very simple rule of thumb: if they're fighting evil at risk to their own well-being, you can put them under the Heroes category. If they are typically attacking innocents, heroes, or villains for their own power, prestige, income, or other selfish goals, they're Villains. If they were heroes but have currently turned to the dark side, don't include them here.

Comments and Questions

Then why is Gambit in the both the heroes and the villains sections? PseudoSherlock 16:23, 22 May 2006 (EDT)

Because there is a never-ending supply of work to be done on this site! Seriously though, Gambit is a real tough one. His transformation into Death has left his status fairly ambiguous. Though he appears to be corrupted, his backstory into why he chose to join Apocalypse shows that he had noble intentions. Whether he emerges as a hero like Archangel, or succumbs to moral decay remains to be seen. I'd make an exception and leave him in both categories for now - let's see how the story plays out.--MikeFichera 17:54, 22 May 2006 (EDT)

I'm sorry this may not be the place to ask this but I don't know where else to go. I've beenn adding a couple of articles for about a week now and none of them have been approved. Is there soemething I didn't do or are they bein' rejected for some correctable reason? --BlackMustangInc 12:11, 7 June 2006 (EDT)

BlackMustang - you need to read your User Talk page. You've been scolded for plagery off other websites, and it looks like you didn't even know it. Check it out here. (I'm going to remove this text from here after you acknowledge you've read this.)--MikeFichera 12:27, 7 June 2006 (EDT)

G’day all, what would the process be to add a Hero (or any character for that matter) if a page hasn't already been created for them? Thanks for your help.

Deadpool and Cable

i read on wikipedia.org that deadpool was the son of scott summers (Cyclops) this would make him the older brother to Cable. They work together and their DNA was merged to protect them from the Façade Virus but their DNA would be similar and would not need to merged.

What do you think?

P.S. Is the wikipedia.org info correct as Deadpool's history is extremely different to the one by Marvel?

he's not watch freakin' "wolverine x-men orgins" dead pool was created.so cyclops never had sex.
