Like all Jovian settlers, Charlie-27 possesses a superhuman body bio-engineered for the rigors of life on Jupiter. Charlie's body is eleven times more massive than the average human body and about three times as wide. His bones are larger, denser, and more durable than a human's, enabling him to resist Jupiter's three times Earth gravity. His muscle tissue is also about three times as dense as that of the average human body, granting him normal human-level strength in Jupiter's gravity and superhuman strength on Earth. On Jupiter, Charlie can lift (press) about 500 pounds. On Earth, he can lift 1,500 pounds. Charlie has sufficient strength in his legs and feet to dent, and eventually cause a six-inch thick steel plate to rupture, after repeated blows. Despite his weight and size, Charlie has slightly above average human-level reflexes and is capable of running at human-level speeds, approximately 22 miles per hour. His endurance is about four times that of an average human being due to his expanded cardiovascular and respiratory capacities and slower metabolism. Charlie's skin is also denser and more durable than human skin. He is impervious to penetration wounds up to and including the impact of a .45-caliber bullet.
