Significant Issues
First activated, battled Avengers and Thunderbolts, deactivated (Avengers #12, 1999)

Years ago, an alien named Lucifer set up a mountain base in Arizona, maintained by the supercomputer Dominus. When the Avengers battled Dominus and his minions, Dominus fled into space, taking with it most of its components. Eventually, the Thunderbolts came to the abandoned mountain base seeking a new headquarters, only to find the Avengers looking for the missing Hawkeye. The two teams' battle was interrupted by the arrival of Dominex, awakened by the battle inside the base. Tearing itself from the base and taking every metallic component with it, Dominex announced that Earth was to be destroyed for interfering in the plans of the Arcane. It then set out towards the Murray Fracture Zone, intending to detonate itself on a fault line and create a nuclear winter on Earth. The Thunderbolts eventually managed to infiltrate Dominex's form and send out a signal containing Dominex's schematics. With the aid of the Vision, the signal was sent to Henry Pym and Tony Stark, who discovered the location of Dominex's command module. The Thunderbolts then succeeded in destroying the module, effectively deactivating Dominex and preventing its mission of global destruction.
