He was the first being to see Galactus. He discovered Galan's ship before long before he was re-transformed as Galactus, and indentified the possible threat, but refused to destroy Galactud due to his vow of non-interferience. His decision tormented him, as he saw the destruction and death Galactus brought to the universe. The two battled for milenia and the universe literally died arround them. Ecce is finally defeated and Glalactus cracks his armor open, releasing the energes trapped inside and becomming the big-bang for the new universe.
