Significant Issues
Freed convinced the Psycho Man to assist him (Captain Marvel #15, 2001); Fredd destroyed Psycho Man's ship after being defeated by Captain Marvel (Captain Marvel #16, 2001)

Very little is known about the past history of the being known as Fredd, except what he chose to reveal. In his own account he was banished from his own dimension after a battle with the Avengers and the Fantastic Four of his futuristic alternate world. The battled raged for days leaving most of the planet scourged. The Fantastic Four's techno-wizard leader Mister Fantastic pulled a rabbit out of his hat in the form of some kind of unknown techno-mechno-wonder-cocoon-maker thing that quickly wrapped Fredd into a cocoon and whisking him into the Microverse. While in the Microverse, Freed encountered the Psycho-Man and quickly convinced him to become an ally in conquering the Microverse and the Earth. Fredd revealed to Captain Marvel and the Micronauts (Arcturus Rann, Bug, and Marionette), that he was Marvel's evil twin clone future self.
