Hell-Rider was in pursuit of a pair of vampires, disguised as a sheriff and deputy, when they decided to kidnap two unfortunate victims. A trucker Ghost Rider with the call sign Devil Rig also gave chase in his Hellfire semi-trailer truck. Devil Rig almost backed off when he spotted a vampire roadblock, but Hell-Rider coaxed him onward, determined to send those vampires right back to Hell. Hell-Driver found more sinners needing to be returned to the infernal abyss when the Antichrist decided to lead an army of demons through the gates of Heaven. Many of the vile creatures ended up splattered over the front end of Hell-Driver's Hellfire automobile.
