While exploring the Fault, Quasar (Wendell Vaughn) of Earth-616 discovered a group of Avengers engaged in battle with a ferocious creature which was eventually incapacitated by Thor and apparently killed when Iron Man snatched the creature's heart from its chest. Iron Man and his group, the Revengers, captured and interrogated Quasar who revealed there was another universe on the other side of the Fault. The Revengers sent their Quasar through the Fault to create a portal that would allow the Many-Angled Ones to crossover and consume this new universe.
