In the 83rd century B.C., the enigmatic alien Caretakers granted a man great psychic powers, but he turned against them. The psychic eventually joined a tribe in Vanaheim (what would become Scandinavia), and circa 5250 B.C. a hunter gained power from an alien creature and brought the tribe to the creature, intending to share the power.
