While his powers have a limited range, they are potent enough so as to be easily confused for magic. More recently, he has undertaken true magic, utilizing certain intricate spells, enabling him to physically transform others, project magical blasts, etc.

Paraphernalia
He formerly wore the Jewel of Jeopardy, a Bloodgem fragment, which rendered him immune to aging. Though he initially aged rapidly upon its destruction, he re gained his youth (and possibly immortality), presumably via magic.
