The Orb of Eternity was a dark crystal ball like object, set in a golden globe holder.

Powers
It is not clear if the Orb of Eternity had any special powers, it was used as a cosmic communication device between Eternity and Adam Warlock.

The Orb of Eternity was given to Adam Warlock, by Eternity as a means of communication. Warlock was able to use the Orb to gaze into the dimension of Egolix-7 and he also viewed his imminent defeat at the hands of the time traveler known as Maxam.
