Donning the Phantom Rider costume after the previous Rider, Jamie Jacobs--who had only recently adopted the identity from fallen Rider Carter Slade--was slain in battle, Lincoln fought injustice in the Old West.
His spirit would later go on to possess Hamilton Slade, a Phantom Rider many generations removed.
