Powerhouse could adsorb any form of power into his body increasing his own power, this included the powers of other super-powered beings. He only had to make contact with them for his powers to begin working.

Abilities
He could amply his superhuman strength by adsorbing energy and this resulted in his strength doubling. He was able to recover quickly from most physical injuries.

First Appearance
The Man Called Nova #2 (1976)

Davan subjected himself to an excruciating training process to become a member of the Syfon Warrior regiment of Xandarian Nova Corps. He quickly rose through their ranks to become one of their elite operatives. While performing his duties he was forced to land his damaged starship on the planet Earth, and in doing so he became amnesiac for a time and he became affiliated with Condor and fell into conflict with Nova (Richard Rider). After regaining his memory he returned to Xandar and became a member of the Champions of Xandar. Powerhouse died fighting the forces of Nebula.
