These jets were assigned to both S.H.I.E.L.D. and the Avengers. Although they were built and designed by the Wakanda Design Group, headed by Black Panther, Tony Stark was trusted with possession of three beta models of the newest, most advanced quinjets.
While one of the three was destroyed during its first run in the Savage Land at the time of the Avengers disbanding, Stark was still able to take the remaining jets with him. They are now at the disposal of Stark's new group of Avengers.
