S.T.A.R.S. (Superhuman Tactical Activities Response Squad) was set up by Valerie Cooper under the Commission on Superhuman Activities supervision. S.T.A.R.S. was set up to be a policeforce to counter superhuman activities in America. The Commission selected U.S.Agent to be their representative and marshall. Under U.S.Agent's leadership S.T.A.R.S. has stopped such criminals such as Ronan the Accuser, Blood Brothers, Power Broker, Piledriver, Power Broker, Poundcakes, and others.
S.T.A.R.S. current status is unknown since U.S.Agent left them to work with the Invaders.
