The origin and history of the Sea Leopard remains a mystery. He stated that he was a member of the Ancients of Lemuria and he was in-fact of Royal blood. He was guardian of the sacred horde, which was revealed to be Antarctic Vibranium the cargo of the ship Endurance that was Captained by Ernest H. Shackelton in 1915. Sea Leopard revealed himself to the ship's crew after their vessel sank into the sea, and he informed them that they had violated the "sacred horde." Later after Antarctic Atlantis was destroyed by Paul Destiny Sea Leopard found refuge within the ruined city,
