Powers
Miguel's hybrid human/spider physiology gives him a wide array of powers. He has the proportionate strength and agility of a spider, which allows him to lift 10 times his own body weight, and jump distances of up to 30 feet. His speed and reflexes are also enhanced to superhuman levels. Spinnerets in his forearms enable him to fire organic spider-webbing from the top of his wrists.

Retractable talons in his fingertips and toes enable him to climb walls or cut enemies. His teeth are venomous, and can paralyze anyone he bites. He has enhanced hearing, and can see in the dark, or long distances. The muscles controlling the movement of his eyes are accelerated, which enables him to clearly see fast moving objects without any motion blur. His web cape acts as an air foil, and allows him to glide on air currents for a short period of time.

Miguel O'Hara, a genetic engineer in the year 2099 of an alternate future reality (Earth-928), worked for the powerful corporation, Alchemax, in a time when big corporations had more power than government. Miguel quit in indignation after a prisoner was killed by his company after being used as a human test subject. Alchemax CEO (and secretly his true father) Tyler Stone, told Miguel he had poisoned him with an addictive drug, requiring Miguel to remain employed. Miguel's attempt to purge the drug from his system was sabotaged, spliced Miguel's genes with that of a spider, endowing Miguel with fantastic spider-like abilities.

Using a costume obtained from a Day of the Dead festival and some glider material from a Thorite (worshiper of Thor), Miguel battled against his own corporation and other villains as the Spider-Man incarnation of his generation.

A reality-hopping Proteus traveled to Earth-928 via Jordan Boone’s Virtual Unreality portal, arriving at a time before Doom overtook leadership of the United States. There, Proteus took control of the Hulk of that era. Miguel assisted the time-displaced group, the Exiles in their battle against Proteus, but was subdued and unmasked. With his secret identity now all over the Net, Miguel realized his life was over if he remained in his reality. He agreed to join the Exiles in their mission to stop Proteus. These events caused a divergence into a new reality, Earth-6375. It is unknown how the future of Miguel O'Hara and this reality of Earth will differ from that of Miguel O'Hara from Earth-928 and his world.
