Powers
Talisman possesses mystically based physical and sensory powers derived from his knowledge of Dream-Time. By entering a light trance-state, he can commune with those spirits who are privy to information beyond that which can be derived by his ordinary senses. Thus he can question his ancestors about the nature of his opponent's powers, the whereabouts of hidden objects, and other such tactical matters. Through meditation, he can even "see" things that are invisible or microscopic.

Talisman can also physically enter Dream-Time, traverse distances, and re-emerge in real space seconds later and miles away. The limits to this functional equivalent of teleportation are not known; however, it is on the order of several miles (about 10). Due to his ancestors' guidance, he never becomes lost while traveling through Dream-Time, and always emerges precisely where he wants to. He can only create a passage into Dream-Time by means of his weapon, the bull-roarer.

Talisman may possess other mystical talents which have not yet been revealed.

Weapons
Talisman wields the tjurunga, or bull-roarer. By twirling the bull-roarer around his head in a special way, Talisman can create a man-sized passageway into Dream-Time, permitting him egress. By twirling it in another special way, he can create a larger aperture which can engulf others as well as himself. Passage through Dream-Time is extremely disorienting for the novice, or for anyone not welcome by Talisman's ancestors. By drawing an opponent into Dream-Time, Talisman has him or her at a great disadvantage.

First Appearance
Contest of Champions #1 (1982)

Talisman wears paint on his face in a mystical configuration and has first hand knowledge of Dream-Time.
