Why doesn't anyone care about Darwin?

I have been a comic book fan for about 6 or 7 years (I'm 13), used to subscribe to Astonishing X-Men, and have an uncle who draws for comics, and still didn't know who Darwin was until I clicked on the link from the X-Men team site. There should be a National Slightly Obsolete Superheroes Day on Marvel.com, so that people can be informed about interesting heroes like Darwin.
