Marvel Universe

Talk:Josiah X

Source of Article

I don't know if anyone else has realized this or if I just shouldn't worry about it. Stuart Vandal the getleman who wrote the article for this character, Josiah X, almost completely cut-and-paste his material from the Marvel database site ( www.marveldatabase.com/wiki/index.php/Justice_(Josiah_X) ) which is not a Marvel sponsored source. So should he not either give the site credit or have the article changed??? --IRISH4869 13:00, 10 March 2006 (EST)

First, I was one of the contributors to the entry on the Marvel Database site. Second, that site is a free-use wiki site, with explicit permission to allow others to repost it elsewhere. Third, although I frankly don't recommend posting information taken from online sites to entries here, as much for reasons of accuracy as anything else, I'd checked the information and found it to be correct. And fourth, a perhaps most pertinently, I wasn't the person who cut and pasted it to this site - I merely edited what someone else had put up, then approved the entry, not realising that doing it in that order (as opposed to approving first, then editing it to correct spelling, etc) would mean I was the sole person credited.
