i have all the comics of the usm collection...and i wanted to know...
is there going to be and usm sequel of the game? cuz alot of characters haven´t been used... like w.fisk...hamerhead...copycat spider-man...and hoggoblin would be cool now since you took care of the green goblin norman harry would wante revenge...dock ock...the lizard...balck cat as an alie...elecktra also apears in the comics...
here is my idea...
just spidey! so he can have more details!
abilities: spidey reflexes but more then dodge back and to the side! like climp to the harm of the guy and kick him in the face! stuff like that!...spin on lamp posts...do more aero acrobatics...beeing abel to shoot to web lines... and use the sling shot but not only in the air...u fire 2 web lines from the floor start alking back and then let go this could also be used like the web zip but he does´nt zip right away ! swinging system well not just shoot webs up! sometimes u need to shoot webs down...
bring back the spidey store and the hero points! more speed upgrades for swinging... more web attacks and more hand to hand attacks! like spidey 2!
less repetitive game play...more missions that don´t allways involve persue and beat! bosses shuld escape from jail...but only after game was passed! story replay so you could use all the skills and bonus in a new story! new costumes! black costume(symbiote) peter parker(normal and hoddie) half dressed spider-man(pants and socks of the normal peter costume with spider-mans shirt but its way too big for you gloves and mask like in number 41) half dressed spider-man with x-men shirt(number 44) wrestling spider-man(the one made by peter and the one mada by the wrestling company) TO SPICE IT UP!!!!! scarlet spidey spidey unlimited Alex ross spider-man and dusk! or some other suits! the more suits the game as the better it gives the player a great experience playing the story over and over again but using diferent costumes and seeing them in the cutcenes...
the suits would ba available at the spidey store after game completicion and every suit would have and advantage or disavantage...or just be a suit! the suits would be like 50.000 hero points so you would have to work hard to get them! but not by doing races and picking up tokens cuz many ppl doesn´t find the tokens when its like 1 token left to have the black suit! its realy hard to find them! this way its hard 2 but its simpler and better for the gamer!
in cut cenes show aunt may...JJ...qwen since she didn´t die in the last game!
extra missions:for like MJ...aunt may!the bugle...the fantastic 4! they could send you an a mission to beat geldoff and bring him back! and missions like that!
and more inside locations like you could go in the fisks tower your house the bugle "the place" and stuff like that!
more crimes...like fires...and hostage situations!or something like that!
i have alot more ideas! but for now what do you guys think of this ones?.--lucky guess
Sounds great, I haven't played the game (worried I won't like it), but just to add to your costumes The Amazing Bag-Man would be great too. marvels 14:50, 19 April 2006 (EDT)
I highly recommend the game to you! sononsj 15:39, 19 April 2006 (EDT)
I'm also interested in the game. I've played Spiderman 2, does it even barely compare to that one? Because playing Spiderman is insanely fun in that one. Though I'm also interested in Venom, does he play ok?PseudoSherlock 15:21, 19 May 2006 (EDT)
Venom's awesome in the game, more than Spider-Man in my opinion. (He eats people!!!) I have the Spider-Man 2 game, but I would have to say Ultimate Spider-Man is better.
Really?? Well then, I'll have to check it out. Thank you. PseudoSherlock 16:14, 22 May 2006 (EDT)
I was reading this and you can play as Venom and Carnage.....yeah Carnage I played as him
Can they pleeeaze make a sequel? use the clone saga, or the ultimate knights story arc, I don't care. Oh hey!- that would be so sick if we could play as the clones like alternate costumes!
I like how the writer for Ultimate Spider-Man has replaced Gwen Stacy with Kitty Pryde. -marvels 23:09, 30 April 2006 (EDT)
On a related topic, has anybody noticed how the writers switched Gwen's personality (smart, but she knows how to party) with Mary Jane's (party girl)? sononsj 23:12, 30 April 2006 (EDT)
I think a lot of people are getting way off topic when it comes to Ultimate Spider-Man. He is completely different from the original and deserves to be treated as such. I fall under the catagory as well as the rest of you. I still insist that something should happen between Peter and MJ, but that is how things are. It's not the same universe. It's amazing to see how realistic this one is though. I love the Ultimate line of comics. Doesn't anyone else agree? It is one of the best things to come from Marvel in a long time. The things that dont make sense in the original, are completely redone in this. The best part of all is that Spider-Man retains his original scientific background instead of the mistical one that Marvel decided to switch to in the 616 continuity. I love Spider-Man and always will, i just think that this is a much better idea than the original. As much as people would love to have him around, he should have died years ago or at least given up for good. That's just my opinion. And with this Ultimate Spider-Man, its like he can live on and continue his life without it seeming like it has been around forever.
It's also good how he apparently doesn't age. A big mistake in Marvel 616 is that Peter graduated from high school after like 25 issues, and for a year that passed in the real world, a year would pass in the Marvel U (at least in the early issues). Not so with Ultimate Spider-Man! sononsj 16:56, 1 May 2006 (EDT)
I like the kitty/peter relationship a lot and I hope it goes on for a very long time, I think it is much better then the peter/MJ couple, if I want to see peter with MJ I will look in normal comics but the little differences are what make the Ultimate Universe so great. Spider man is still spider man if he is with kitty. They are my favorite couple in the Ultimate Universe, maybe even the marvel Universe as well.--x10ofspades 12:49, 29 May 2006 (EDT)
I was just reading usm 94 and at the end it sead she was dating Miles Warren I searched the name miles warren on the search engine on the top, I won't say who it is incase it will ruin it for people but try it if you want to know.--x10ofspades 14:26, 7 May 2006 (EDT)
Who was dating Miles Warren? This might have something to do with Ben Reilly, and the remaining Carnage samples, and, most importantly, the up-coming Clone Saga in Ultimate Spider-Man. sononsj 17:56, 7 May 2006 (EDT)
Sorry, my bad, I will try and be more specific Aunt May went out on a date things went well and she stead over night.--x10ofspades 19:43, 7 May 2006 (EDT)
Okay... that's not creepy. sononsj 19:45, 7 May 2006 (EDT)
Ha, you think that's creepy peter found out on a answering machine this was the message, and I quote "Peter, it's Aunt May... Pick up. (He already went to bed) Okay, if you wake up and get this don't freak out. My date is going well and well, I'm going to stay here tonight. You a big boy, so we can discuss this later. Write this down. Miles Warren. He's a doctor. His phone number is 609-585-" Kitty "Wow. Your aunt got her groove going" Like you sead that's not creepy.
Is the USM game part of continuity? I thought I read Bendis say in some interview that it was (and it seemed to follow continuity) but then the Silver Sable arc was completly differnent. It had a really cool story with Venom, and I wanted to know: Is it counted as continuity, or have I gotten my wires crossed somewhere?--Spidey:Weapon X 20:43, 11 June 2006 (EDT)
No. Video games (and for that matter, movies and novels) are not part of continuity. sononsj 21:02, 11 June 2006 (EDT)
Okay, so what I found is this: According to a few sites I checked, the Ultimate Spider-Man game was supposed to be canonical (this was confirmed by Bendis as the first of its kind), and everyone assumed it was until the Silver Sable arc which seemed to conflict directly with her portrayal in the game. At this point, until Venom resurfaces in the comic, the fate of the game's story is unknown.
I know that video games aren't considered continuity, but this one was confirmed as canonical by Bendis, until he wrote the Silver Sable arc.--Spidey:Weapon X 20:53, 13 June 2006 (EDT)
are there a code to all the costumes --lekkim 18:37, 9 July 2006 (EDT)
Am finding more and more references that the game is continuity. The letter columns in the Ultimate Spider-Man comic during the Sable arc confirm it, and Bendis also states that the Sable arc is not a remake of the Ultimate Spider-Man game. Bendis also said that he would reference events in the game down the line of the comic, and that the game took place between issues 36 and 40 of the comic. Everything I've found says its continuity except for a contrast in the Sable arc. Can we put in what happens in the game, or is there some copyright thing in the air, or are we supposed to wait until the error is resolved?--Spidey:Weapon X 15:08, 8 August 2006 (EDT)
I read in a preview of Ult. sider-man 100 that there were some sort of clues hidden in the last 100 issuies, can anyone find any.
What kind of shading techniques do the USM artists use? It seems that they use airbrush for most cover shots and some other kind of filling for everything else.
