Whats wrong with you people?

Why the hell would you go and ruin a part of my herritage by making it "pro registration"??!?!?! I mean do you not have any respect?

The Reigning removed?

Why would the whole Reigning section of Thor be removed? I know it said it is an alternate Thor, but it is still very much a part of his history, and only became an alternate world once he made it that way through his abilities. Even afterward, it is still referenced in the Ragnarok arc, so it seems that it was and is a part of his history. --jeremyconner

Once Thor went back in time and changed events, it became an alternate timeline. Which means it was not the same Thor that did everything during the REIGNING, but the alternate universe version of Thor that did it. It can still be references much like HOUSE OF M and DAYS OF FUTURE PAST, but everything that happened during that story arch happened to a different Thor, Thor (Earth-3515) to be precise. The Earth-616 Thor never married Enchantress, never had a child with her and never ruled Earth. --DragynWulf 14:08, 5 October 2006 (EDT)

I understand that, but I still don't see why it can't be referenced in the bio simply by making a notation of, In an alternate future, or something to that effect, rather than completely removing it. It did after all happen in Thor's main title, and should have some merit to his history, one that he created and removed. If it isn't in the bio, then one would not get the full understanding of Thor, and what happened in a great amount of his volume 2 era. It's basically leaving a large gap of his story out. That said, what, or how rather, would one find that information? By creating a completely different bio for Thor-3515, or Lord Thor rather?

Yeah like he should have his own character bio. It wouldn't make any sence if it would be in the profile. Like for example. It would look quite odd and confusing. If Spider-Man bio would have a story from Ultimate Spider-Man or story of Spider-Man in Marvel Zombies universe. Reason why there is no mention of other universe characters in Marvel Universe characters, because it wouldn't be practical. It would just confuse the reader when in the middle of the text they start to tell a story of another character from different universe that happens to be Marvel Universe characters conterpart. It doesn't leave anything out of his story, because it didn't happen to him. It happens to that other Thor and so for aren't his memories or his history. So it doesn't belong to his bio. You are of course free to make this altenative universe Thor his own bio here Thor (Earth-3515) where it belongs. --Wezqu 17:52, 5 October 2006 (EDT)

To be fair, this is quite different than those examples used, as in this story, it happened in the 616 universe, until Thor himself altered it through actions he took. So it is the same as the reference to the Zombie's or the Ultimate Universe. When I read the bio, like many others, I have talked to(and I know this doesn't even hold the weight of water) find that the absence of it from the bio is more confusing than it being in there. The whole series took up a large chunk of his second volume, anmd though it ended up different in the end, does not change it existence. Thor himself knew of Magni as noted in Ragnarok, this is the same Thor that never lived that never lived that timeline. That seems to be enough to merit the inclusion in the bio, in it's entirety. Though this is just my opinion. --jeremyconner

Once Thor came back in time, it created an alternate timeline. Thus creating a different Thor and Earth where Thor ruled the world. The Thor (Earth-616) can remember everything that took place in another dimesion just like the Avengers remember what took place in the Squadron Supreme's world of Earth-712 and vise-versa.
As for it not being there making it more confussing, stating that a Thor from an alternate dimension telling Thor of his errors, to correct a wrong, seems simple enough for me. --DragynWulf 23:28, 6 October 2006 (EDT)

I agree, and having looked at what was posted in that place, and thinking of it further it does seem fitting. Could we though possibly change it from "alternate Thor, and actualyl put the Thor (Earth-3515) that way it gives a link, and allows the users to see who that person was. As for that Thor's bio, I am workingo n it right now, and hopefully will have it finished by early next week.

Hulk and Mjolnir

just a quick question here.In ultumate avengers, hulk manages to lift the mjolnir and even hit thor with it.Anybody care to explain that?

The answer is im spitballing but bruce may be "worthy" to lift the hammer or that the hulk is and his strengh helped him

It did happend in the Ultimate Universe so Hulk is probably worthy to lift Mjolnir. --Black Panther#1 18:28, 20 March 2007 (EDT)

I have a Thor comic from the 80's and the Hulk lifted the hammer with just his brute strength. At first he couldn't lift it and Thor taunted him, which made him angry, then he pummled Thor with it.

Wonder Woman and Superman

Wonder Woman and Superman both held Thor's hammer before, and I've tried editing it, but some silly people took it off. It's nonsense. Wonder Woman in DC versus Marvel #4 and Superman in JLA/Avengers #4.

Possible reason for deletion. - --mickeys4life 15:59, 7 August 2007 (CDT)

Question concerning Thor's mother

Since Odin mated Gaea under her form Jord (Norse Mother Earth)shouldn't his mother be listed under said name in profile box(with link still going to Gaea)? This was told in Thor Annual #11 (1983). - --mickeys4life 15:59, 7 August 2007 (CDT)

Well my opinion is that it should be listed as Gaea as the relatives names should be the name that the person now uses so there would not be any misunderstandings. --Wezqu 17:45, 7 August 2007 (EDT)

I thought her name and appearance depended on which race/ethicity she was appearing in front of. - --mickeys4life 17:00, 7 August 2007 (CDT)
