The devastating war between the Kree and Shi'ar resulted in the creation of the Fault – a massive tear in the universe leading a terrifying alternate reality called the Cancerverse.
The creatures inhabiting the Cancerverse sought to infect and destroy our universe and breached the Fault, led by Lord Mar-Vell. Heroes from all over the galaxy came together to confront the threat, but Mar-Vell countered with his Revengers – a distorted Cancerverse version of the Avengers.
The mad Titan known as Thanos had recently been resurrected and was perhaps the only hope for defeating the invaders. Star-Lord and the rest of the Guardians of the Galaxy took Thanos into the Cancerverse hoping to find a way to save all of creation, but even the immense might of Thanos may have a problem bringing destruction to a universe where its inhabitants won't die.Contributors:
