Hope Abbott, a former member of the Xavier Institute's Paragons squad, has demonstrated her willingness and ability to work with other mutants in training sessions, but has not experienced a genuine combat situation to date. Abbott has shown a penchant for old films and classical music, and has musical ambitions on her own, which suggests a high level of cultural sophistication. Abbott's dislike of contemporary popular culture further indicates an aversion to violence and crudity, but also possible social detachment. Nonetheless, Abbott has seemed supportive of, and loyal to, the decisions of Ben Hammil, a.k.a. Match, the Paragons' field leader. Abbott is expected to stand by her teammates in the case of restrictive measures against mutants, but may be reluctant to resort to violence.
