Significant Issues
Vision takes over world's computers (Avengers #254, 1985); Ultra-Vision defeated by Korvac (What If? #36, 1992)

Not swayed by the Avengers' appeals to withdraw his persona from the world's computer systems, the Vision maintained his control and declared himself ruler of the planet. His goal was to bring about a new "golden age" on Earth. The United Nations and the world's superheroes went along with the Vision's plans, and soon thereafter the Vision – now the Ultra-Vision – became absolute ruler of Earth and the solar system. Ultra-Vision was instrumental in bringing about peaceful change in the Kree and Skrull empires of this dimension. Years later, because they feared an expanding the Ultra-Vision as a “nexus being,” the Time Keepers plucked the evil Korvac from the timestream to counter the perceived threat. Korvac battled Ultra-Vision in cyberspace and destroyed him, but quickly thereafter Irondroid (Earth-90110) created a duplicate Korvac program which destroyed Korvac himself.
