You don't know who I am, but you will. You can't see me yet but you will. My name is Tor and I have come to shake up the marvel universe. Not to harm it in any way but to do my part in making it better. Hopefully someday I will be givn the power to tell you all my story on your printed paper. But for now I must do what I can to help.
Thanks Marvel for this oppurtunity to share a little of me to a little of you.== Promoting Comics ==
Yesterday I was in the car on a road trip, and while I enjoyed the vast world we live in, I paged through an old copy of Spider-man. I found it intersting that this particular issue had been diffferent then the others. On every other page a new Marvel character was introduced to Spider-Man. This got me thinking. How did Marvel promote themselves in the Sixties. If they resorted to having a whole issue of Spider-Man deditcated to introducing other characters, then something is different from today.
Today, Marvel and DC have this really cool thing called the movies. With the new "Marvel Movie" faze that has in the last five years or so exploded, it is clear how Marvel is promoting themselves.
When the little boy/girl sees their favorite superhero on the big screen, it is not hard to see why they pick up the comic books.
