Doc Samson

Where did you get your Doc Samson information? It looks like you took text from the Marvel Directory - which iteself is a plagery off the Official Handbooks. Normally, copying off other sites is prohibited. However, using text published by Marvel is allowable. Despite their plagery, Marvel Directory posted Samson's strength incorrectly - he can press a maximum of 25 tons, not 70 tons.--MikeFichera 22:20, 20 June 2006 (EDT)

Storyarc referances

I approved your Stature profile, but wanted to let you know that a stroyarc shouldn't be used in the history unless the character's themselves call it that. What took place in House of M and Secret War have been used in the titles by the characters, but Avengers Disassembled has not been. So for stories like that, use a link to the name using a discription of the event. Like events that lead to Scott Lang's death for example. --DragynWulf 15:35, 22 July 2006 (EDT)

Spell checking

Please use a Spell Checking program to check the spelling on profiles before creating them. Profiles with typos can not be approved because we are trying to make this look as professional as possible. Because of this, your Coldblood (Eric Savin) profile can not be approved. --DragynWulf 17:09, 20 August 2006 (EDT)

Where did you get your information for your Thunderclap entry? It looks like a thinly reworded version of the one on Wikipedia (which is itself a reworded version of the one on the Marvel Appendix). If it is simply taken and slightly reworded from another site, then the entry is still plagiarised, and I will remove it, so if I am mistaken, please respond asap. I got the information about Thunderclap from both the Wikipedia and Marvel Appendix websites. Is there any other way I could get information about the character? Possibly have it approved this time? brpkenstatue

We don't take information from other sites for 2 reasons. First, we cannot guarantee that the information is correct, especially from a site like Wikipedia, where people can edit without it being verified. Second, because to use information copied from another site is plagiarism, even if it is slightly reworded. There is "any other way" to get the information about the character - go to the source material, the comics he appeared in. Stuart Vandal 04:46, 22 August 2006 (EDT)
