Creating/editing a profile (plagiarizing/copying from website)

Please do not plagiarize (copy) from other websites. One reason (there are others of course) is that it can cause legal problems down the line for Marvel. Because of that, we want the profiles here to be original text. Another reason is we cannot guarantee that the information is correct, especially from a site like Wikipedia, where people can edit without it being verified.
You may take the text from an OHotMU and use that (as long as you mention where your source of information came from).
Also, please use a template when creating a profile for a character, team, event or anything else. You can find some help with creating profiles in the Help area and the templates themselves in the Help Posting area of the site. The templates are used to create a standard system for the Marvel Encyclopedia to show a uniformity with the entire site.
Because of this, your recent group of profiles can not be approved. Hope this helps you understand things a little better. If not then feel free to ask questions. --DragynWulf 12:18, 10 April 2007 (CDT)

Copying text from another website will not work

Please stop trying to copy text from Wikipedia or any other website in order to fill out profiles. And especially stop trying to over-write previous text that has nothing wrong with it just to change it to plagarized (copied) text from Wikipedia. --DragynWulf 08:25, 14 April 2007 (CDT) (Moderator)

Please list years instead of volumes

Due to the numerous volumes for various titles, the way things are listed here are:
Title, issue number, year of publication. So it would look like the following:
First Appearance: Thunderbolts #114 (2007)
Significant Issues: Thunderbolts fought unregistered person (Thunderbolts #114, 2007)
Remember, you can always use other profiles to get an idea of how to properly write things. --DragynWulf 15:12, 13 May 2007 (CDT) (Moderator)
