Please do not plagiarize (copy) from other websites. One reason (there are others of course) is that it can cause legal problems down the line for Marvel. Because of that, we want the profiles here to be original text. Another reason is we cannot guarantee that the information is correct, especially from a site like Wikipedia, where people can edit without it being verified.
You may take the text from an OHotMU and use that (as long as you mention where your source of information came from).
Also, please use a template when creating a profile for a character, team, event or anything else. You can find some help with creating profiles in the Help area and the templates themselves in the Help Posting area of the site. The templates are used to create a standard system for the Marvel Encyclopedia to show a uniformity with the entire site.
Because of this, your recent group of profiles can not be approved. Hope this helps you understand things a little better. If not then feel free to ask questions. --DragynWulf 18:29, 21 November 2006 (CST)
Please stop copying other people's work. --DragynWulf 20:36, 23 November 2006 (CST)
When creating a profile, there are template to use. You can find a link to those here -----> Help Posting. There is also a help section for other helpful hints/suggestions and you can find that here ----> Help area
When making a new profile, the way I do it is I go to my Userpage, type a link to the character name like this -----> Hawkeye, then click the "Show preview” button at the bottom of the page and it will create a link to that character name. Once you've clicked on that, it will take you to an area where you can create the profile. All profiles/names that are in red, have not been created yet. All those in blue have already been created.
To edit a profile, just go to the character name, click the "Edit" button at the top of the page and then proceed to edit the profile.
When creating or editing profiles, please remember to use a spell checker program. We want this website to be as professional as possible as if it were an actual issue of the Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe.
When writing the history for a character remember to write it like you were the Marvel character the Watcher, just standing around only observing the actions taking place. So there should be no references to a comic title or number in the history. Just information that you see happen within the comic itself. The only place to reference a title and issue number are the "debut", "origin" and "significant issues" area.
Also when writing a profile, please list as much information as possible. If you know the character's hair or eye color, then list that. If you know their powers, weapons or appearances, then please list those as well. But only information that is found in the comics themselves (Official Handbooks of the Marvel Universe are good sources also). Profiles that only have a one line for information and nothing else won't get approved.
Hope this helps you understand things a little better. If not the feel free to ask questions. --DragynWulf 20:38, 23 November 2006 (CST)
