The User:_________ pages are for posters to post about themselves and type what they want in that section. It is each poster's own private posting area.
The User talk:_________ pages is where you post messages to other posters. You can get to a User talk page by clicking on a poster's name/handle, then clicking on the "Discussion" link towards the top of a page in the "Article Tools" area.
To post a new topic, click on the "+" sign and then type the subject in the Subject/headline area and then the message in the larger area. I hope this helps you understand things a little better. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. --DragynWulf 22:23, 8 July 2006 (EDT)

Hello, you were asking for advice on your page? I think it looks good, you just have a few misspelled words. Is that the kind of advice you were looking for? chizzaz 15:30, 8 August 2006 (EDT)
You can use the following system to create a character profile just as you can create a profile for yourself. However a poster does not get listed in any categories. Those are for characters only.
So here is some general help:
When creating a profile, there are template to use. You can find a link to those here -----> Help Posting. There is also a help section for other helpful hints/suggestions and you can find that here ----> Help area
When making a new profile, the way I do it is I go to my Userpage, type a link to the character name like this -----> Hawkeye (Clint Barton), then click the "preview button" at the bottom of the page and it will create a link to that character name. Once you've clicked on that, it will take you to an area where you can create the profile. All profiles/names that are in red, have not been created yet. All those in blue have already been created.
To edit a profile, just go to the character name, click the "Edit" button at the top of the page and then proceed to edit the profile.
When creating or editing profiles, please remember to use a spell checker program. We want this website to be as professional as possible as if it were an actual issue of the Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe.
When writing the history for a character remember to write it like you were the Marvel character the Watcher, just standing around only observing the actions taking place. So there should be no references to a comic title or number in the history. Just information that you see happen within the comic itself. The only place to reference a title and issue number are the "debut", "origin" and "significant issues" area.
Also when writing a profile, please list as much information as possible. If you know the character's hair or eye color, then list that. If you know their powers, weapons or appearances, then please list those as well. But only information that is found in the comics themselves (Official Handbooks of the Marvel Universe are good sources also). Bios that only have a one line for information and nothing else won't get approved.
Hope this helps you understand things a little better. If not the feel free to ask questions. --DragynWulf 15:06, 14 July 2006 (EDT)
is how do you do all that picture and weapons and place and real name stuff on your user page?
Go to Template:Person and cut and paste this to User:Pickelteeth and fill in the blanks. For the image, replace the "image_not_available.gif" with the image title of your choice. To find out the filename of the picture you've chosen, click on the picture and it will show you. Oh, one last thing - erase the last line from the template (the one that says "person" in double brackets). Otherwise, you will show up in Category:People and since you're not actually in the comics, we don't want that. --Lonesome Pinky 18:22, 14 July 2006 (EDT)
so please look at my user page thanks!!
Looking good! --Lonesome Pinky 18:35, 14 July 2006 (EDT)
Hey, Pickelteeth, if you want to sign your posts, type four tildas (the ~ symbol) at the end of your message. It will automatically sign and date it for you. Like so: PseudoSherlock 18:41, 14 July 2006 (EDT)
