Maximum Carnage

You're right in that Maximum Carnage was a good storyline. I don't understand why many people didn't like it. sononsj 19:04, 4 May 2006 (EDT) Well my opinion is i think it was great concept in fact carnage is one of my favorites, but demo-goblin kinda ruined it for me. Any way Awesome concept but maybe a redo later on without demo-goblin. fantasticthing

Question

I don't want to ask for any personal information, nor display any. Thus I dont know of any other way to ask a personal question. Sononsj, you seem powerful in the Marvel knowledge. You and Liquidviper both. I'm not that great at editing, like in creating a little info about myself, which you guys have contributed to. I appreciate your looking at it and helping me get it viewable to others. I would like at some point in time to be able to add pics and things as well, however I dont want to cause any political or legal problems. Thus any information you could pass my way as to how to add such without making waves, please let me know. And thanks for the privilege of letting me contribute.--Venomocity 14:58, 5 May 2006 (EDT)

So basically, you want to be able to add pictures, right? sononsj 19:12, 5 May 2006 (EDT)

Yup, of course approved ones. Like many other users I get alot of pics and drawings from the net and the last I want to do is cause any kind of problems. For instance, there was a pic I had included with the info for my Venomocity info, but it was removed. No biggie, but I just want to make sure of what pics I can use. When I saw it was removed, it said it was broken. I hate to sound dumb, but what is broken and unbroken. And thanks for the help too by the way.--Venomocity 22:54, 5 May 2006 (EDT)

Broken images are just that, broken. They are images that mess up while they're uploading (or sometimes after). About the guidelines for images, as long as it is an official marvel image, you can upload any one you come across. If you have any further questions check out the posting guidelines or leave an entry on my user talk. --Viper 23:27, 5 May 2006 (EDT)

When you're using pictures from the internet, make sure they're from a comic book. When in doubt, don't upload it. Pictures should be of the highest quality and resolution or else SOMEONE will, and I quote, "chuck" it. A picture without words is preferable to one with words. Usually, fan art is not accepted. sononsj 01:06, 6 May 2006 (EDT)

OK, I have another question for anyone who can answer this. Why is it when I sign in and go to the Marvel Universe it strikes out my username and Control Panel and Sign out? When I first sign on its fine, however when I click the Marvel Universe it changes it all and strikes out my username and the other stuff I mentioned. Does it have something to do with the hero points?--Venomocity 15:22, 29 January 2007 (CST)

If you mean why there is that line over your nick. Its not really over your nick is the underline that usually is on links but for some odd reason it sometimes jumps over the nick. So its a minor bug I don't know the reason why it does that but it doesn't have anything to do with heropoints. Usually it helps that you scroll down the page and up again and it might then come to be in the right place. --Wezqu 16:34, 29 January 2007 (CST)

I want to add the 'At a Glance' section

I would like to add the 'At a Glance' section to my profile, however I'm not sure how, could someone help me with that please?--Venomocity 11:02, 15 August 2006 (EDT)

It is the same as creating a profile. Go to an existing profile, cut and paste the information from that onto a word program. Then alter the text to your profile and remove the categories at the bottom. Then upload the text to your Userpage. --DragynWulf 11:12, 16 August 2006 (EDT)

I appreciate the help DragynWulf. I only have 18 hero points, so I guess I have to wait for someone to approve the change. Hopefully I did right. If not maybe you could tell me what I did wrong.

Profile

So I just noticed that my profile was approved. But I dont know who to thank for it, but whoever it was, thank you. However this brings up a question, I know that with more hero points more doors are opened to you, however, will I ever be able to make changes to my profile without someone else approving it? I would also like to start helping with some character bio’s, yet I don’t want to get in the way or be a burden if someone else has to come behind to check it all out. Granted things need to supervised for their reasons such as mistakes and what not, but I was just wondering if the question could be answered should someone be listening.--Venomocity 01:40, 11 July 2007 (CDT)

In time, sufficient Hero Points could allow posts without the need for Mod approval (but we'll still we watching). However, in the meantime, do not feel you are a burden! Moderation is the best way we can keep the site "public" yet quality controlled. --MikeFichera 01:48, 11 July 2007 (CDT) (Moderator)

Just to clarification when you get self approval rights you are not allowed to approve anyone elses edits. Its self approval right you can only approve your own edits. Just tought to mention this because many people don't understand that it is only self approval rights and start to approve other peoples edits. Only Moderator's can approve someone elses edits. --Wezqu 06:34, 11 July 2007 (EDT)

Thanks to the both of you for helping to clear that up for me. Someone however, is being modest and not taking the credit for approving my bio, but I thank them whoever they are. Hehe, ah the thankless efforts of the heroes, who go the extra step in taking care of the Marvel Universe. I appreciate both MikeFichera and Wezqu for taking the time to teach me. I definitley like to know how things work so I dont overstep the boundaries. I always want to respect others, their opinions, and their edits. So thank you and the only things I'll edit in the future then, is my own stuff. And I also appreciate moderation, so please dont misunderstand me, I was just wanting to know what I could do in the future as far as making edits and approvals. So thank you. --Venomocity 10:38, 11 July 2007 (CDT)
