In order to quell an uprising led by his son,
Filius, the macabre
Captain Omen unleashed his most powerful servant, Aquon, to pound the usurpers into submission. Filius had chosen a captive
Hulk to lead the rebellion, and so the burden of facing Aquon was his alone. The massive man-fish fought toe-to-toe with the green behemoth and gained the upper hand when the Hulk unwittingly cracked the hull of Captain Omen's submarine home and it began to flood. Just at home in the water as he was on dry land, Aquon was able to swim circles around the Hulk, preventing him from taking in any life-giving oxygen. As soon as it would seem the Hulk would drown at the hands of his enemy, Captain Omen was forced to pump the water out of his ship before everything was destroyed, but in the process, Aquon was sucked out to sea too. The Hulk was able to hold his breath long enough to survive a watery grave, but Aquon was not seen again.
