Catiana

The youngest of two daughters, Tatiana Caban has always had a natural affinity for animals. She worked several day jobs in order to bring home food for her menagerie of pets at home as well as strays. After saving a dog following it being hit by a car, she was exposed to its blood. Later that morning, at the Bronx Vocational High School, her mutant nature first manifested itself, reacting with the dog's blood to transform her into a dog-like humanoid with enhanced hearing and senses. Chased out of the school by the mutant-hating students, Tatiana fled into an alley and was forced to kill a cat so as to take on its properties to save herself. She was calmed by X-23, the young clone of Wolverine, and joined her and her newfound friends, runaway mutant Kiden Nixon and former teacher Cameron Palmer, in opposing pimp Zebra Daddy's efforts to reclaim X-23.
