Foxbat was among the Inhumans that were enslaved by Apocalypse, when he devastated Earth's Moon city of Attilan. He was a winged, taloned Inhuman, and was chosen by Apocalypse to be a member of the Riders of the Storm army, which later came to be known as the Dark Riders. When the Dark Riders fell under the command of Genesis, Foxbat's life-essence was drained from his body by the Dark Rider known as Lifeforce.
