It is unknown if Helio was a human being, Inhuman, or Deviant, although, he gained his powers after being exposed to the Mutagenic Terrigen Mist.

Abilities
Helio could manipulate air molecules for various effects, such as propulsion, tornado-force explosions ("air-quakes"), and near-vacuums. His eyes, nose, and skin are especially adapted to resisting rigorous atmospheric conditions. He possessed moderate experience at hand-to-hand combat utilizing his lighter that air body and air manipulating attributes.

Dispatched by Maelstrom to Hydro-Base to steal Anti-Terrigen Compound, battled Mister Fantastic, Thing, Gorgon, Karnak, and Stingray, captured and put to death, by Deathurge (Marvel-Two-In-One #71-72); clone body activated by Maelstrom, dispatched against the Avengers, confronted Iron Man and Starfox, coerced into helping the Avengers by Starfox, rendered unconscious by Wonderman, had his spare cloned body destroyed and taken captive (Avengers #250); posed as Malcolm Stromberg's domestic servant (Quasar #21); attempted to keep the Ghost Rider from entering Stromberg's estate (Quasar #23); temporarily turned into a goose by Sersi (Quasar #25)

Helio was among Maelstrom's Minions who were dispatched to the Hydro-Base to steal the Anti-Terrigen Compound, which was developed by Mister Fantastic, and the Inhumans. After securing the compound and projecting it into the Atlantic ocean, Helio, Phobius and Gronk were engaged in combat by Thing, Gorgon, Karnak, and Stingray while trying to retrieve the compound for a second time. Helio and the others were captured by the heroes. Falon, obtained the compound and returned it to their master Maelstrom.
