Monkey Joe

Monkey Joe was just your average ordinary squirrel until he was called into action by his former partner Squirrel Girl. In the hopes of becoming the partner of the invincible Iron Man, Squirrel Girl and Monkey Joe set out to meet him but encountered the despicable Doctor Doom on the way. However, even after defeating the vile villain, Iron Man still declined a partnership. Soon Monkey Joe along with Squirrel Girl had moved to New York where they met two members of the Great Lakes Avengers: Flatman and Doorman. After saving them from some muggers, being inducted into the team and battling Batroc’s Brigade, Monkey Joe became the victim of a jealous and vindictive Leather Boy who murdered the short-lived hero while in the guise of his first defeated foe: Doctor Doom.
