The New Inhuman Elite were said to be the equivalent of the Shi'ar Imperial Guard by queen Medusa, when Lilandra informed the Inhuman Royal Family that Emperor Vulcan would dispatch the Imperial Guard to apprehend her for opposition to his rule of the Shi'ar.
