Odin Borson is the second king of Asgard and arguably the most powerful being in existence. He is a very strict paternal figure to all of the gods, especially his favored son Thor. Odin and his two brothers planted the world tree, Yggdrasill on Earth to protect its soon to be inhabitants. He then sent his son Thor to the land of Dwarves to create the first mortals, Aske & Embla, from and Alder and Ash tree. After slaying the giant king Laufey he adopted the now orphaned Loki. Odin is prone to be more concerned in proving a point than his son's life, often making him an antagonist.
