For years he has watched people insane enough to follow Apocalypse betray, deceive and kill their own relations in order to claim the right to be he who is closest to En Sabah Nur The Fittest.

After M-Day, when Apocalypse seemed to soften in his resolve mildly, Ozymandias betrayed his master and helped the X-Men defeat him
