Considering himself rightful heir to the throne, he secretly planned an overthrow of Rama-Tut, the god-pharaoh of Egypt who had descended from the heavens (actually [[Kang]], who had come back in time). En Sabah Nur, while exploring Rama-Tut's futuristic technology, confronted Ozymandias and threw him into the machinery. Ozymandias emerged as the stone-like creature he is today and received visions of the future up until Kang's time - though his mind could not retain those visions. En Sabah Nur turned the forced Ozymandias to be his protector, oracle, and scribe.
