Dreams of enslaving the [[Mechclans]] of his world quickly vanished when he was exiled to [[Marvel Universe|another world]], but that didn't mean Phinn would abandon his vision altogether. He tried to take over this new planet by force, but [[Lyra]] – the newest agent of [[A.R.M.O.R.]] – was sent to intercept Phinn and his forces. When it seemed Lyra would be able to defeat his army, Phinn challenged her to ritual combat familiar to his people. To ensure her compliance, Phinn threatened the lives of several human hostages. His underestimation of Lyra's abilities led to Phinn's deactivation when Lyra ripped his robotic heart from his chest and released a tiny robotic soul from inside.
