| + | | powers = Reignfire originally existed in an amorphous, a sexual, ebony protoplasmic form; he can apparently temporarily accure additional mass to replicate another after exposure to his/her DNA. After duplicating Sunspot's form and powers, he could metabolize solar energy, using it to enhance his own strength enabling his to lift 50 tons and augmenting his endurance, as well as re-channeling it into concussive force blast. He could produce heat sufficient enough to melt bullets, or create downward thrust which allowed him to fly at incredible speeds. He could drain the heat from the bodies of others, causing hypothermia. Before Cable weakened their telepathic link, Reignfire could control Sunspot through it. After being reduced back to protoplasm, proved able to engulf Sunspot and control him in that way; it is unconfirmed if Reignfier's liquid form might have been able to control others who it did not have a telepathic bond with in a similar fashion. | ||

| + | bio_text= Born under unspecific horrific circumstances, the protoplasmic mutant later known as Reignfire became geneticist Dr. Segismund Joshua's test subject, code-named Project Nineteen. Telepathic scans confirmed that despite it lack of human characteristics, the entity possessed a rudimentary consciousness, but after a decade of experimentation the fluid began to suffer physical deterioration and was placed in an oxygenated nutrient bath to slow its decline. Dr, Joshua transfused it with blood from another test subject, [[Sunspot]] (Roberto Da Costa), curious to see if it could duplicate Sunspots photovoltaic abilities. Instead unexpectedly, it could use Sunspot's cells as a template to regenerate, becoming a physical duplicate of Sunspot, an establishing a telepathic bond between them that provided Nineteen with a complete copy of Sunspot's memories. With his new-found powers, Nineteen escaped, setting fire to Joshua's lab and killing five people in the process. Unaware of any of this, Sunspot later regained his own freedom, and joined [[Cable]] (Nathan Summers)'s [[X-Force]]. | ||
