Hired by Ricadonna to break her out of prison, King Size, Ferocia, Blue Streak, and Flame underwent a risky surgical procedure at The Corporation, implanting Skrull organs inside their bodies. Along with their own special attributes, they received the added ability to shape shift, making it easier for them to avoid detection. Their first order of business to liberate Ricadonna from prison was easy to achieve, however, taking care of the Heroes for Hire was another matter entirely. After Ricadonna made several attempts to assassinate them, all unsuccessful, Misty Knight, Colleen Wing and their new partners, Black Cat, Shang-Chi, Humbug, Orka and Tarantula uncovered her secret base and promptly beat her rogues. Before the base exploded, Misty ordered her team to save the unconscious villains, and it can be assumed they were all incarcerated.
