Mother Superior taught all her girls that the Lord's flock does not have to be meek little lambs. In keeping with that philosophy, all the nuns were trained in forms of both armed and unarmed combat, but despite all their training, nothing could save them from the powerhouse known as the [[Deacon]]. When the newly appointed Caretaker, [[Caretaker (Sara)|Sara]] – granddaughter of the original [[Caretaker (Unrevealed)|Caretaker]] and former nun in the convent – returned home after the battle between the [[Ghost Rider (disambiguation)|Spirits of Vengeance]] and the rogue angel, [[Zadkiel]], she found the nuns massacred. Only Mother Superior was barely alive to explain what transpired in Sara's absence before she passed on with the rest.
