Those who make it back to the surface are left with their minds permanently shattered. [[Captain Omen]] is possibly the only human in existence to capture and domesticate these horrors to do his bidding. His Toad-Whales are so docile they will even allow Omen's crew to ride them. Such was the case when Omen's son, [[Filius]], had to lead a small band of men to capture the [[Hulk (Bruce Banner)|Hulk]] as he was attempting to escape [[Infra-World]].
